What Guests Are Saying
Twin Dikes campground is generally well-maintained, clean, and offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful lake views and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the helpful camp hosts and the serene environment, which is great for birdwatching and family relaxation. Some concerns include the need for maintenance on older sites and occasional issues with neighboring campers, but overall, guests enjoy their experiences and plan to return.

The park is normally quite nice; we have been there many times. This trip we found the grass was way past needing to be mowed with weeds almost 2' high in and around the campsites. Not normally how we find the park. Many of the campsite pads are seriously deteriorated, asphalt missing in huge chunks. Sam Rayburn Lake is a beautiful place nestled in the piney woods of East Texas. COE should show it some love and respect, time to do a little housekeeping.

I have been coming to this park since I was a child. Never a bad experience. Love our spot we always stay. Beautiful view of the lake. Watching the sunset and sunrise is the best part. The eagles that fly over are my highlight everytime we stay. The flocks of geese just add to the magic for me. Less is more in my opinion. Just peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for so many years of memories.

Attendant was super helpful when the outside receptacle needed to be replaced. Got it done the next day. Problem with cite 23 since june is a huge pine tree leaning that may tear up picnic table and slab. Another dead pine tree 5 yards from cite 23. A pine tree struck by lightning after july 4th 30 yards from cite 23. This cite needs a lot of attention in cutting these problem pine trees

Love the locations, campers and camp host. Nice boat ramps, although one was damaged, still had several open to launch and nice boat ramps. I noticed nnn-paying locals used the private boat ramps. Need to be more vigilant about that. We pay to stay there and they should pay and be required to have a dash tag for proof! Too congested on weekends at the boat ramp!
