What Guests Are Saying
Twin Dikes campground is generally well-maintained, clean, and offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful lake views and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the helpful camp hosts and the serene environment, which is great for birdwatching and family relaxation. Some concerns include the need for maintenance on older sites and occasional issues with neighboring campers, but overall, guests enjoy their experiences and plan to return.

The only issue we had was very minor. Our area needed mowing. The grass and weeds were pretty high.

Fantastic and secluded feeling, with great water views. Eagles flew past and called all day, and it's easy to sit by the water in the shade and enjoy the time. Only stayed a single night but in less than 24 hours saw 68 species of birds in the campground and boat ramp area in mid May- this is a fantastic place to be if you're keen on birding. I ended up hunting for the Bachman's Sparrow around the Boykin Springs area which is day use and near by, by on your way out at the entrance of the campground do not miss the areas of restored open pine forest which have bobwhites, meadowlark, and bunting.
Site was great for my small trailer, a covered picnic table was nice to watch the jays play on. Water clean with a faint chlorine smell which disappeates fine. No issues with power. Bathrooms a very short walk and no mess, just dusty. Would definitely stay again for a longer term.

Stayed at Twin Dikes for the Big Bass Splash. The conveniences of town so close, and access to the lake were well worth the stay. The park host was very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. We stayed at site 12 and were pleased with our site. It is a short walk to the shoreline of the Big Sam. The park is clean, quiet and well-kept. Will stay again.

Sites a bit close together and the driveways a bit in disrepair , the sewer stack a bit high had to build the sewer hose bridge. Nice view of the lake. Chatted with neighbor campers who frequent the park. Big place made for nice long bike rides. Great spot if you have a boat.

Everything was great, had 1 little issue the sewer hook up, was a slant and the fitting would not work, had to cut my fitting on my hose to make it work. But you could not tell if your tanks were empty, or see what was coming out.
