Loved our buddy campsite near the lake. Overall very clean. My only negative comment was the walking trail next to the lake has not been maintained. We made it but could use some intervention.

We loved the site, we stated on 107 and it was lots of shade. There was not a lot of boat traffic so we kayaked. The sites are far from each other. We will go again

Excellent park with great volunteers. We pulled in at 7:00 on Saturday evening after a long drive through Dallas. We were parked at the gate getting our tags and unhooking our toad. One of the volunteer staff came out to greet us to make sure everything was alright. Made us feel good about security.
They are seen working every day to keep the park well manicured and the bathrooms very clean for the guests.
A big thank you to the volunteer staff at Brushy Creek COE park near Jefferson, Texas.

This was my first experience with a COE park and it was a very good one. All the camp (rv) sites had water views and some were on the water front. My site was level and required no effort in setting up.
The sites are a bit closer together than most of the Texas State Parks I have been to, but still much more room than a typical rv park.

There a very big tree at back of spot. It is in the way of a side and awing. Not able to open all the way. Also no gravel in the side area because of the tree. Big mud area if raining
Needs to be cut down for most rigs with a side.
Thanks
