Having stayed in many COE parks, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. Very typically, the bath house was dated but clean with plenty of hot water. The bath house closest to our site is set up with four unisex en suite rooms, each containing a sink, shower and toilet. The overall area is well-maintained; the grounds are peaceful and quiet with spacious sites. I enjoyed seeing a variety of bird species.
We opted for a pull-through site (E108) for our 40-foot Class A towing a Jeep, since we could only stay 2 nights. Site required boards for leveling, but it was long enough that we did not need to unhook, and wide enough to put out the driver side slide. Exactly what we needed. It’s worth noting that all of the park roads in the E section were easily navigable while hooked. We reserved the site only two days before arrival and as I walked around the park I noted a couple of other pull-through sites in the E section that looked like they might be easier to level in, but our site was fine. Water and power both good, no problems. Park staff friendly and efficient. We would stay here again.

Campng at the park due to the closeness to Jefferson for the Reenactment. Some minor tent pad maintenance is needed, but that was a minor inconvenience. Over all we had a great weekend stay.

Love camping there. Gate employees are great. The only problem was 2 off bathroom were not working properly. Need to remind guest that they aren’t the only people using the bathrooms.

Nice park. Our camp spot was very roomy. The camp volunteers were very friendly, attentive and did a very good job maintaining the camp sites. One in particular was very cordial and answered all of our questions. Her name was Marjorie. We enjoyed our stay at Brushy Creek COE at Lake of the Pines and look forward to returning.

Stayed at campsite E110 which was spacious and right on the lake. We opened our door to a beautiful view every morning! Plenty of trees to provide shade. A quiet and just overall great place. Will definitely return if I am in that area again.
