The park is fabulous. The whole park is clean, the individual sites are well manicured and level. The lake is also in great shape. We loved our experience at Brushy Creek and definitely will be back.

Front gate attendant and campsite was excellent.
The rest room was just okay. Fairly clean, but no way to dry hands.
We enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Absolutely a beautiful park in the pines on a beautiful lake. After what I am sure has been a busy summer of campers, the rest/shower rooms needed cleaning and painting. Our first night a strong storm came through leaving limbs, trees and debris broken and scattered. Electric power to the entire campground went out during the storm but was restored by 10 AM the next day. The crews and volunteers were out first thing the next morning and worked hard and steady to clean up and haul off the debris. We had the occasion to speak with some of the workers and their attitude represented one of ownership, real pride in "their park". We look forward to returning. We were there in a class B van for 2 nights.

This is a beautiful park and there were so many engaged and friendly volunteer staff at this park. We were there during a pretty strong storm that blew after dark. This storm had prior to arriving at Brushy Creek had spun several tornados in East Texas. Fortunately, the storm moving through quickly, but not without causing some tree damage and a large tree being downed not far from our campsite. No injuries were sustained in the park but the staff at the park were out close to midnight removing the tree that had been downed and blocking one of the park roads. We did lose power also about 10 p.m. ( probably due to the tree hitting a power line when it broke). Our power was restored about 4 a.m. The staff continued all day Saturday and Sunday with cleanup of the park. Many pine needles on roads, some smaller tree branches etc. The staff were were friendly and kind and worked together cleaning up from the high winds. This is a beautiful park and many sites are pretty level. They are actively working on section 3 of Brushy, creek upgrading sites and fire pits etc. We will definitely be returning. We loved it!

Brushey Creek is a beautiful and clean campground. We stayed in the RV section and enjoyed the sandy beach area. The staff are very friendly and keep all the RV sites picked up, free of debris and tables clean. We were there during the rain and high winds. Many tree limbs, pine straw and pine cones fell throughout the area, and we lost power for several hours but the staff were out first thing the next morning blowing away pine straw , cutting limbs and clearing the road. By mid day you’d never know there was a huge storm the night before. We will return again and again!
