Wonderful park, great view of the lake and nice facilities. The sites are a little close together but not too bad. We enjoyed our stay

Brushy Creek campground is very nice, quiet with a great view of the lake. Just one word of advice if you are using GPS to get there be careful and not let it take you down Tejas lane. This is to an old, very old closed entrance to the park. Just continue down FM 726 and you will see the entrance.

Clean spacious campsites with plenty of areas to safely walk pets. Safety is always an issue when camping and we felt very secure with gate locked at night and park hosts making rounds throughout the day and evening. Will definitely plan another visit to Brushy Creek. There were several brushtops from fallen trees in the area but none were noted at actual campsites.

Restroom in E loop really needs addressed, disgusting broken urinal laying on floor. Really, just get it out of there. Restroom in next loop is in good shape.
