It was a good getaway. The staff was friendly and willing to assist when needed.
The lake is clean and well maintained. Will come again but it could use an upgrade.

Everything was great, except they need a place to park your trailer after putting your boat in the lake.

Everything was great. Had to leave due to a nasty cold front but can’t wait for our next trip back!

Buckhorn was great. The website for making reservations was terrible. I would hesitate ever making another reservation. What should take less then a few minutes took 30+ minutes.

Nice campground, spaces are adequate. Lovely scenery. Great cell reception. Good pavement for walking. Fishing good, but can be crowded on the lake.

Check in was very easy. The people are very nice and the park is beautiful. However, the restroom/showers were not clean; they were very old and needed to be demolished. No on site sewer, so just plan ahead for that. Overall, I would stay there again but I’d really like to see new restrooms/showers.
