One of our MOST FAVORITE places to camp. The people who work there are so friendly and accommodating , the lakes are just the best and the park itself is just so good. We love camping at Lake o the the Pines !!!

Johnson creek campground is a very large park. The sites are nice and well kept. Big swimming area, with playgrounds for the kids.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Easy in and out and the most wonderful camp host. He was so much help with parking my camper.

Nice place to go camping, plenty of fishing, kids have a play area with nice equipment to play on, swimming area, many other things including the natural wildlife everywhere. Close to a popular little town with lots to do and see.

2nd visit, year apart. Different sites. We don't understand issue with water, almost like it's pumped from lake. Your rv filter will be plugged in one day, even the screen filter in hose will be plugged with orange slime. Very friendly park staff.

The concrete pads were large enough for activities outside the trailer, not just big enough to park the trailer on. Friendly gate keepers. Two boat ramps are very convenient. Verizon cell service 4 of 5 bars.

A nice USACE campground, highly recommended. Sites are mostly level but not overly long and some will have trouble fitting a long rig with tow. But the location is beautiful. Lake O' the Pines is very picturesque and lots of fishermen here. I have been here before and will be back again. Cell signal is adequate (Verizon and ATT were both 2-3 bars). Jefferson is about 15mins down the road, shops, restaurants and groceries.
