What Guests Are Saying
Alley Creek Camp is praised for its beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and well-maintained campsites, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many enjoyed activities such as kayaking and fishing, and noted the peaceful environment. However, there are concerns about an overwhelming ant problem, maintenance issues like overgrown grass, and occasional restroom cleanliness that need addressing for an improved experience.

Allie Creek is one of the best campgrounds on Lake O the Pines. I do wish there were trails to walk through the woods, but the roads do just as well.

Nice place, needs some free trimming and more enforcement pertaining to off road parking. On site septic would be nice. Park employees were very nice people

The campground is beautiful and the host was very friendly. I had a ladies group stay in the group section. This is the 3rd year in a row I have used the park’s group sites. We have had issues with Argentine (sp?) ants each year but this year was HORRIBLE. Before the campout I told the ladies to make sure to treat their site and around anything that was touching the ground that led to the trailer. Even those that treated around the tires, hitches, stabilizers and lines had ants EVERYWHERE! A couple ladies even had them in their car and beds. It is imperative that the parks treat for these ants to stop the spreading. I had Advion ant gel to put in the trailers that they were in and within hours they were gone. If it weren’t for the ants it would be a 5 star.

The campsites were nice. But the ants were terrible. We had them in everything and our cars. Other then that everything was good

The staff will go over and above. Be ready on accommodations. The restrooms we either closed or below average. The ants are horrible, especially near the pavilion. They will be with you for many months. Too bad because this is such a beautiful park. It needs an overhaul and updated.

The boat ramp in the campground is closed due to low water level. The public boat ramp is very crowded on weekends.

I do not understand why the site does not approve my senior lifetime discount card by saying my number is not valid. It is valid and was recognized for my discount at my campground two days earlier.
