I think this would have been a great place, if we had picked a better time of year! We were there in the Dog Days of August, and it was very hot. We did catch some nice fish and the campsite was clean with nice views. Only reason for my rating was the heat, which was my own fault.

It’s sad to see the state of how the park looks now! I grew up in the lake pines parks.. they could definitely use upgrades the concrete walk ways on the beaches are broken up that’s a hazard the tables was broken to where can’t sit on them like it was bad it’s sad to see how low the water was I was telling my daughter how when I was her age we had to swim out to the yellow divider now you can walk clean out to the farthest yellow float it’s definitely not what it used to be.. far as the RV site I was not impressed at all due to the fact the sewer pipe stuck up out the ground like almost a foot so I had to go up and over a cross tie then up and down the sewer pipe now I know not to get 104.. the spot was a little small but I managed with it since I knew I was only gonna be there a couple days.. over all I give it a 4/10 it needs a lot of work and improvements

The staff were very friendly. The bathroom could be a little cleaner. Internet service was spotty at best.

I wasn't sure if I could cup dead fall. So if I receive no feedback, I hope I can remember to ask about cutting dead fall...
Than you in advance, Terry Minor

Most of these sites lack shade, and many are difficult to back into if you have a larger camper. The overall upkeep was disappointing—the grass was very tall and clearly hadn't been mowed in weeks, making it annoying to walk between our site and our family's adjacent site.
The ants were also a major issue. If you visit in the summer, definitely bring ant spray. We had them all inside our camper and had to spray the perimeter and door frame continuously. Additionally, the camp host was rarely at her site and hard to reach, and her husband was unhelpful when we tried to get assistance. Between the extreme heat and the relentless ants, we ended up leaving a day early. We were in spot E412.

Got eaten alive by chiggers, due to tall grass around our site e 414. Still scratching!

Best location; only complaint, is the fella that didn’t know how to tie up his pontoon, it kept going sideways and hitting our pontoon.
