We always enjoy Lake O the Pines, Brushey Creek and Johnson’s Creek. This trip we were at Johnson’s Creek in area 1. So nice to see all the deer walking around and have the beach and play ground nearby. Only drawback was the sugar ants! Make sure you bring sevin dust and plenty of ant spray for around your RV. The new bath house near area 2 is great, much better than the old bath house in area 1.

The experience was good, and our only negative was that the weather turned due to the extreme heat (over 100 degrees) that accompanied our stay.

This time we did not have a good time. A bad storm came through and we had no electric or water the next morning and we packed up and left. Then wen we got home we had no electric for 4 days. Can't wait for our next trip out there in July.

Great place to camp, near the quaint town of Jefferson, nice ramps, swim beaches.

A beautiful campground, well maintained. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Our site was level, and it looked like most (if not all) were. One thing I loved was the abundance of campsites for tents, and they had primo locations for a view of the lake. We were not tent camping, but I loved that there were plenty of spaces for everyone.

I've rented this site several times and it is a wonderful site for friends and family to have a private area to camp. Normally the restrooms are kept clean by a contractor at least once daily. This time we only saw the contractor once on Saturday. No one came by Sunday. The restrooms had no toilet paper for 2 days. Other than that, we had a great time!
