The restroom near the tent sites Loop 200: it was very hot and no ventilation inside (no windows open or circulation); also, the outside lights at restroom near door were very dim and you could not see path.

Even though the site is a pull through we had some trouble getting our 5th wheel situated because the paved area is too narrow and needs repaired from others driving off the pavement.

Gorgeous park with really nice facilities but we spent 3 days fighting the millions of ants that our space was infested with. After returning home we were still fighting the ant problem in the the RV and also on and in the truck, used nearly a gallon of ant spray spraying around, on and inside the RV.

We had family reunion. We all rented spots next to one another. It was like a little compound. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful Park but rule enforcement (noise) too lax!!!. Loud party 1:30 am, in neighboring site, dog in pen incessant barking. Spacious between sites but rude people ignore designated parking rules and park in those areas defeating the benefit of the free space. Disappointed to see people parking and driving on open lawn areas. Restroom facilities clean but in need of renovation. Dogs routinely seen in swimming area even though postings are clearly visible.

We had a great stay. The place is always clean and well taken care of. There is plenty of wildlife to see and the lake is a great fishing lake

Pretty good site. Not as good as last time we camped here a couple years ago. Grass was pretty overgrown and there was a good amount of trash around the grounds. The lady at the gates was extremely nice and helpful though

Johnson Creek Camp is one of our favorites. The staff is friendly, they have two swimming areas, and an excellent playground. Great restaurants about 20 mins away in Jefferson and a couple good lunch spots in the immediate area.

The pad we were in had no drainage for run- off so half of our tent got flooded. It must have been 2-3" of water on half the pad. We made the decision to pack up and leave the same day we got there.

This could be a decent campground if managed properly. When we arrived, we discovered every scrap of grass around our reserved site was covered with a truck, car, or boat. We asked for a different site, the volunteer host was very nice and let us move to a different site that was open. That one was marginally better, however that loop was also covered with boats and trailers on most grass between sites. There was an open area behind our site, but that was occupied by a makeshift fish cleaning station complete with lawn chair, plastic table, and waste buskets lying around. This was one of three such setups interspersed between the campsites. This area is a fish camp, not a destination. If you don't want to be looking at a trailered bass boat all visit, stay away. Additionally, the grass was very high everywhere. Mowing where appropriate might have mitigated that, but its probably hard to do with boats parked everywhere.
