Great park. Campsites are very spread out and it was very quiet. Would go back whenever we are in the area.

Really enjoyed the quiet of the park. The trails are beautiful, but the bridges could use some work.

The lake itself is very pretty with tall trees all around. The campsites are not too close to each other and we liked the fire pit and table set up. The sandy tent-pad was also very appreciated.
Hiking on the 4C trail cuts through trees that are around 60-80 years old I'd say. Cute, but not remarkable.
A staff member told us about the trees and the history of the mill that used to operate there, which we enjoyed.
The nearby towns are convenient to stock up on supplies, like more wood, and grab a bite to eat.
