This park is so neglected. I don't think an audit has been performed in years. There are too many sites without water, electricity, crumbling driveways, rusted non usable BBQ grills/firepits, crumbling roads, and the park has an overall decaying neglected appearance. What's really concerning us that there are too many obvious squatters and non employees staying at the sites without paying or unauthorized 🤔. No one there at the front gate to check-in campers. Sad... this park could be so much better. Management obviously 🙄 has other things to do. Please audit this site! Do a complete thorough evaluation of this park to see if it meets the same standards as the other parks and the Army Corps of Engineer policy rules and guidelines for park maintenence, safety, and overall quality appearance.

The park was mowed and clean of debris. Park hosts and guests were friendly. One of our favorite destinations at Lake Lavon.

Beautiful location. Friendly park host. 80% of lots are (and have been for more than 1 year) unrentable because the COE has not bothered to repair some of the electrics.

Safe, clean, convenient campground to Dallas. Amazing sunsets over Lake Lavon with a great view from sites on the hill. Good mix of RV/Electric and tent sites. Bathrooms have showers and are clean and comfortable.

The sites are far enough apart. We were the only ones down by the lake. The sunset was perfect.

The lady who works there is the sweetest! She truly cares about the people who stay there and she loves children! She brought my kids food and snacks and she is the sweetest! The park is very clean. And very peaceful and serene! I love staying there!

This park is nice, clean and peaceful. The restrooms are well stocked with paper and clean. Hot water for the showers. Not too crowded. My dog and I will definitely spend a lot of time here since it’s only 20 minutes from home.

A plus for the sight is it was guiet.
Minus…roads are in disrepair…dump station is inoperative…seems for a lengthy period. The landscape care was not real neat..sidewalks covered with cut grass..weeds etc. Shower was inop on one side…restroom wasn’t cleaned.
