What Guests Are Saying
East Fork offers a beautiful campground with large, spacious sites and stunning lake views, making it a relaxing destination for visitors. The staff is friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some sites require maintenance, including pad repairs and restroom cleanliness, and the lack of full hookups may be a drawback for longer stays. Overall, many guests appreciate the natural setting and plan to return despite minor issues.

We arrived after a major rainstorm. Our site was long enough that we could park in a dry spot. If you don't fish, there is not a lot to do at this park, but we enjoyed looking at the lake.

The gate attendant was very friendly and welcoming. I'm not sure why they built a fence in front of the rock beach.

Surprised how long the grass was around the campsites. Thought it would have been mowed. Restrooms were pretty unclean. Nice park and setting but needs some maintenance.

The space gets some shade in the afternoon from some trees. The pad itself needs to be replaced as ll of them in this campground. The asphalt pads have deteriorated so there is mud and standing water in it. It's not very level. I guess at some point they redid the main road but they should have done all the pads as well.

This was the second time we stayed here. Both times we have stayed 2 weeks. It is a very nice campground. Huge open sites. Our site had a great view of the lake. The grass is mowed on a regular basis and this place is very nicely taken care of. We like the asphalt pad. There is a huge table, cover, and grill there at the sites. However, the spiders are terrible. Webs everywhere and so we didn't sit outside. Also, the gate is interesting. It is locked from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. We appreciate the safety there, however, you can't get back in if you are out during those times. Park your vehicle outside the gate and walk a long way to your site. It would be nice if the gate would be open with a code. All that being said, we would definitely come here for a third and more time. Thank you for having such a lovely campground!

Beautiful campground on the Lake. No sewer hookups may limit your stays, but we usually stay for 4 or 5 days because of the location when we must see our doctors. After spending a day with doctors it is so relaxing to sit out in the relatively quiet and enjoy the view.

Overall nice stay. Park needs some TLC. Trees need trimming around the enterance to some sites, most site pads need repair. At least it’s not as BAD as Lavonia Park not yet. Wish people would watch their speed in park, suppose to be 10 mph, not 30 mph plus. Gate people are very nice and helpful.

Camping was such a refreshing and peaceful experience. Being surrounded by nature, away from all the noise and stress of everyday life, really helped me relax and recharge. The fresh air, the sound of birds, and sitting by the campfire at night made everything feel calm and simple.
Setting up the tent was a bit of work, but it was worth it once everything was ready. Cooking outdoors and sleeping under the stars made the whole trip feel like an adventure. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view and quiet surroundings was one of the best parts.
Overall, camping is a great way to disconnect from technology and reconnect with yourself or the people you’re with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a break and a little adventure.
