Excellent experience overall. The staff was extremely helpful, the campsite and bathrooms were spotless, and the environment was quiet and comfortable.

The grounds were clean and the utilities at our assigned camp area worked well. The common toilets and showers need repair and maintenance though. We enjoyed walking around the lake area and the area seemed safe and secure so no worries at night.

I originally had a 2 week reserve, but because of weather between the camp and Detroit I was unable to get home. The staff worked with me to add an additional 2 weeks. Love the security and curfew.

Got locked out after 10pm. Gate did not reopen until 10am. Delayed the start of my trip for 3 hours. No need for a gate, what are you protecting anyway? Will not stay here again. I am 70 years old and don't need a curfew!

The experience itself was wonderful. I went with my friend and my two children. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We stayed at T-01. Plenty of space. View of Lavon is great. It was cool to have a piece of beach and a little walking path in the woods. We had a fire ring and grate to cook on which was helpful. My only issue was that the charcoal grill was missing the inner piece. So we couldn't put food in it without having it directly on charcoal. There was an INSANE amount of spiders. Obviously this is camping I get that, but wow. I’ve never see this many in one area. Not even 24 hours there we had seen a crazy amount of spider species- including 2 black widows. The other harmless ones were giant and repelling from the trees we were making the best of it but gosh! It was a bit much for Nov camping lol. Id still maybe go again, in Jan/Feb

Park was very nice. Could use more grounds maintenance. A lot of long term campers.
