What Guests Are Saying
Lavonia is praised for its beautiful lake views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for campers. Many reviews highlight the friendly park hosts and the spaciousness of the sites, which provide a sense of privacy. However, maintenance issues such as overgrown grass, pothole-ridden roads, and inadequate restroom facilities detract from the overall experience, indicating a need for better management and upkeep.

Easy access, friendly host, well maintained restrooms, roads and sites. September was the right time to visit this park! Kids loved the warm water. Gentle breeze for kite flying. We will go there again.

Not a level site in the park. Roads leave much to be desired. Close to Dallas with easy access. Cell signal fair. Beautiful views!

The two stars are for the view, one of the best views i had seen. But the sites are incline making difficult to level RV. Also lots of strange people. It just didn’t felt safe.

I always enjoy camping at Lavonia. However, the park is becoming very run down. Many campsites are in very poor repair and some are closed. Also, it seems that some people are being permitted to remain more than 14 days; I often see the same units occupying the most desirable sites every time I visit.
