What Guests Are Saying
Lavonia is praised for its beautiful lake views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for campers. Many reviews highlight the friendly park hosts and the spaciousness of the sites, which provide a sense of privacy. We were there for an overnight to attend a memorial service. It was hot and my AC was running but when we arrived back at the site, the AC was not functioning properly. I checked my surge/EMS at the post and it was a problem with the electrical service. We shut it off and opened the windows and luckily it had cooled off. This was site #34

Lavinia park is beautiful, the roads are beyond scary. I was afraid that the road would give away while driving on them. The bathrooms are dated but very clean. The camp hostess was a sweetheart and so welcoming.

Issues with electrical box. Park host very helpful in resolving problem. Facilitated moving to new site. Restrooms were clean.
Road and site asphalt need attention.

Everything was super great!!! The bathrooms could have used a little more attention but it’s understandable how quickly it gets messy and spider and wasp filled. Every associate was very friendly kind and on top of the job! Over all had a greatest time except the northern winds that broke a few things!

Many trailer sites are sloped hard front to back making them challenging to set up on and difficult to “live” on for several days. The entire park needs a facelift as roads and sites are rundown. Views of the lake are very nice. Hosts were very helpful relocating us to a flatter site.

When we arrived at the campground, there was quite a bit of litter at our campsite. The grass was tall. It just looked unkempt. The Lake view is always is beautiful. But I am disappointed in the upkeep of the park.
