Well cared for campground, clean renovated restrooms, helpful camp hosts. There are some great sites on or near the lake with sunset views. Many of the sites are not shaded - great in the cooler months, not so great in the heat of the summer.

Great location! Close to DFW. Clean park, full hookups, friendly and helpful staff. Typical of corps of engineer parks - non level parking sites so be prepared to level your rig as much as three inches from side to side and as much as two feet front to back. Well worth the effort though.

The campground was so peaceful, which was amazing considering it's close proximity to the city. The check-in staff was lovely and made my stay a joy from the start. Also, the restroom and shower facilities were super clean and very well taken care of.

We had reservations for site 27. Got all leveled and the electricity wasn’t working. They moved us to 10 got all set up leveled and water was shooting out of the ground by the faucet. The maintenance guys came said it would have to be dug up and left never say them again. We had to turn the water off and on when showering.

Clean park. All 30 amps no 50 amps. They have sewer which is great. The spots are not level so take leveling blocks for your tires.

Good location if visiting Rockwall/Plano/Garland area. Older park that needs upgrading and maintenance. Most trailer sites are very unlevel from front to back, but spot-on side to side. We had site near boat ramp. I would stay here again if I needed campsite in this area.

We got to the gate to discover that our reservations for a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night stay had been cancelled that we had made two months earlier. Then to find out that they had been given to another camper just for a Saturday night stay. And somehow there was a site available that we were able to get, and when we checked later for some friends there had been more sites come available.
Other then this, the site we had to take was super un-level. I didn’t have a way to test the power output, but I’m pretty sure the power is low due to our ac not running much without tripping the breaker in 75-80 degree weather. And it worked just fine when we got back home and plugged it up.
But on the good side the restrooms are really clean along with the park to be honest and site seeing is really nice at this park.
