What Guests Are Saying
Lavonia is praised for its beautiful lake views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for campers. Many reviews highlight the friendly park hosts and the spaciousness of the sites, which provide a sense of privacy. However, maintenance issues such as overgrown grass, pothole-ridden roads, and inadequate restroom facilities detract from the overall experience, indicating a need for better management and upkeep.

Beautiful park but not very well maintenanced. Four park host and contracted bath maintenance. Park host very helpful. Only 11 sites out of 38 are working.

Old. Everything is old. Camping spots not level. Not close even. Won't be back although we love most Corp parks.

Campsite was clean, and offered great views of the lake. the spacing between campsites was great.. this offered privacy but allowed the kids to explore and make friends with other kids at near by campsites, while giving us the ability to monitor from our campsite.

The campground is in poor condition. When we arrived, we discovered the restroom and showers were out of order for our section of the campground. We were moved to the B loop only to find one shower working and there was only cold water. The sewers were also out of order. The grass was overgrown Adria the sites, the asphalt drives and site pads are potholed. Sites are not level. Just a very poorly maintained COE campground. We seek out COE campgrounds as they are typically well-maintained. Not this one.

We stay there often because of its convenient location to family. Concerned that the State has allowed it to deteriorate over the years. Also, the sites are very unlevel and a challenge for the RVs that do not have leveling jacks. The staff through the years have always been very friendly and helpful.
