Deshay and Andrew were great hosts. Had difficulty getting into my original site and needed to change. I was in a site across the street from Andrew and Deshay they were always so kind and helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

The gate was closed and padlocked at 10pm, so we were unable to get to our site right at 10 pm. We had set up earlier in the day and left to meet family for dinner. We asked the hosts to let us in, and the husband agreed to let us in, but the wife would not allow it. We had to park outside the gate and walk in. Worst part was that the gate didn’t reopen til 10am, so we had to wait to get our truck until then. We were planning to leave early that morning but could not do so since we could not get our truck inside to hook up camper. I don’t think a camper who has paid for a site should ever be unable to get in, regardless of the time. The host was outside in the morning, and my husband asked him to please open the gate so we could get the truck in, but he refused to do so until 10am.

Its been several years and still no work on this park. The entrance building is still abandoned with holes in the roof and the walls. The roads are decaying. They appear to have replaced some sewer plumbing but where they cut the interior roads, they did a poor patch job which has mostly washed out. The exit lane has washed out so badly its scary. Power in one loop has very low voltage.
Time this park gets "Built back better!"

This park needs a huge amount of help/funding. The sites are nice and have spectacular views. The roads however are horrible and the check-in office building is in bad shape (it’s not habitable at this time due to a severe roof failure).

We love this Lake and camping here. so it breaks my heart. I have to give only a fair rating.
The T04 campsite had poison ivy everywhere. No matter how careful we were my children, my husband and I all got poison ivy rashes.

There was someone setup in our campsite when we arrived. We had to find a park host and ranger to get the person removed from our site. The upkeep of the park is in very poor shape. There was trash, beer cans, overflowing several grilles and along the shoreline of the day use area. There is no one at the guard shack to keep out unwanted people so it is easy for people to pull enter the park without a pass. we saw multiple vehicles parked around the park with people sitting in them and no park passes. That felt kind of sketchy. The park rangers and park hosts were very pleasant and helpful, but this park needs to have some money invested in it and some TLC to get fixed up. It is sad that such a beautiful park has not been cared for. The lake is beautiful, the sunsets are breathtaking. Our site was right on the lake.
