It went well, the only problem was the power went out to the whole park but that wasn't the parks fault

The gate attendant was awesome! I had and electrical issue at my site and he was able to put me in another site with no issues. The sites and park were very well maintained. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a place to stay. Great job! Keep it up!!

I have never felt scared to leave my animal in the camper for fear of no electric. And the morning of check the electricity just cut off.I was told but Justin he had to figure it out.We left early after running our generator. 100 degree heat it not a good place to be.But on the other hand we like the fact that it is well taken care of clean and quite. We will go back.

Over all a very good experience! The park was clean and peaceful. Because it was so dang hot we didn't spend too much time through the day at the park. There are some fun family friendly attractions in Temple and Killeen not too far away. We are already planning to return when the weather cools off a bit. The only negative I can report were the fire ants in and around the screened shelter, but I will expect them next time and plan accordingly. It would also be great if they could put in a pier to fish from. I don't know if its possible but it sure would be nice. The park host Mike was polite and respectful.

We were very pleased with our site for camping as usual.. The host Mike was very professional, informative and helpful.. Checked in on us several times during our time camping there.. Hosts are doing a great job..
The camping area was very clean and well taken care off,, as well as the public bathhouses and showers..
Camping reservations were easy to do online,, no delays or problems..
We did notice during the huge rain that came in on us during our camping trip,, that the roll down tarps over the screens are old and are not matching up with the fasteners.. this has been a problem from before when we camped there..
We have booked more time in September and October for a couple more times to stay at this park.. Thank you

We've stayed here quite a few times & we LOVE it! However, last time we went, fire ants infiltrated our entire camper (not in our food, they were inside our clothes, beds, everywhere)! So bad, we had to go get a hotel room...
So yall bring ant killer if you go after a big rain!

Mike the host/volunteer did a great job taking care of the park and checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Small park, not the best lake access/beach areas if you are wanting to swim, but nice boat ramp and fishing areas.
