This is a great little park for tent camping and smaller RV's. No day use here. Showers here are amazing, nice bathrooms, some of the best i've ever seen at a ACOE park. Park access via pin code is nice for arriving after hours. Sucks they close this spot Oct-March every year.

This was not our first stay at White Flint Park, but was definitely our last. The impression began at the entrance to the park. The gate attendant’s building was covered in spider webs and other unsightly things. It has clearly not been cleaned in quite some time. The attendants do not stay in the building. Instead, they stay in their camper and you have to go find them. The site we stayed in (o8) was surrounded by sticker burrs since the grass hasn’t been mowed in a while. Each one of my kids, and one of my dogs, ended up with sticker burrs in their feet. They were all over the inside of our camper by the time we left. The gravel area where the picnic table is was clearly not maintained. The grass under the picnic table was taller than the seats. Then the general lack of maintenance led to lots of insect activity. Ants were everywhere. They ended up using our water hose as a way to get into the camper. Our last day we had to kill dozens of fire ants inside the camper itself………Last but not least, none of the rules seem to be enforced here. There were large dogs off leashes for the entire weekend and even some people (unknown if they were paying guests) dumpster diving! I definitely want to give the good with the bad so I will say the view of the lake and boat ramp are both very nice. Not nice enough to bring us back to this park.

Lake was clean.
Cabin was in fair shape.
Bathrooms where kinda nasty.
Building for HOST was a nasty sight as you drive in.
Had to park get out walk to host camper to get a gate code. Very inconvenient especially when we are in the middle of August in Texas and it was very hot to be chasing down a gate code we should have known before our stay time.
Host was friendly, stay was good besides all that .

Karla and Michelle are great!! Problem is that those gates need to be locked at night to keep people who are NOT paying to stay. Watched an individual handcuffed and put in back of police car. They did the very best they could do under the circumstances of no one working the front gate. Someone came through at 4 am never stopped at any campsite, was speeding and then left out. I feel like if we are paying we shouldn’t have to worry about that happening. Again, Karla and Michelle are wonderful.
