Staff was very nice which we would give 5 stars and the bathrooms were very clean but the lots had stickers ( goat heads) and the picnic tables were almost unusable due to seats warped and nails raised…we would come back though

Trash needs to be picked up at the campsites and the shelters we looked at needed to be cleaned and swept. Not a lot of information on how to gain access to the park. Could be a nice park if things were cleaned up a little.

The xamp hostess is just awesome. Love the peaceful, quiet campground. The fishing was delightful. Just saddens me it closes in October.

I have never seen SO MANY BUGS in my entire life!! Yes, we were camping. Yes, in Texas. But my god..we’ve stayed at cedar ridge twice, and union grove once, and there were less bugs at those two parks combined than at white flint. Which is a shame, bc white flint has major potential. Also, let’s get some weed killer out on the dirt areas, like around the picnic shelters..I had to go home to get my grass shears to make the area tolerable. Bath house was nice, though, which is a major thing for me, but the bugs (lake flies specifically; no mosquitoes, which has never happened) just ruined the whole trip.
