😞 Very Disappointed.
This park is normally our favorite early spring getaway. We come to Whitney often.
This Park often. Had a group book in the lower area by boat ramp under the trees for wildlife and scenery.
Well upon arrival grass has not been mowed. The leaves from fall season are deep. Snakes are active and so are kids!
There was people in our group had electrical box issues and had to call the park electrician to come work on the electric boxes. The park has been closed for months I do not understand why they could not maintenance it during the off season of campers.
Just my opinion.
There was no Camp Host housed/staffed giving free rein to visitors coming and going. No one to monitor 😕. The boat dock was being used as a boat storage as people would tie up and leave boats making launching loading & unloading access very difficult.
Men's bathroom, by the boatramp, well was just disgusting!
We will continue to camp here but we will be selective in our choice of sites moving forward.

We always enjoy Cedron Creek. I always wonder why it's closed in the winter months and two parks right across from Cedron are open year round and they are a lot crappier All chopped up and so forth where Cedron is a lot nicer and laid out better all though I realize you have to go with what the land gives you. And when are they going to bring back the park host. They haven't been there since the pandemic. I think it's time to bring them back if it's to operate right. And please see about keeping it open year round. I know we'd enjoy it all year and alot others that I've talked to that like us just won't use the other two parks close there. But we had a great time, Thanks for asking.

Tree limbs hang low for a high 5th Wheel. Otherwise it is a nice spot.

When we arrived on a Friday someone and their camper was in our site, using my name, and had already left the park. I was extremely frustrated I had a bad day and was ready to relax. The gate attendant should have checked the persons reservations prior to letting him in, that way they would have seen he was at the wrong park what frustrated me was at that point this person was using my name and camp site as if it was his. I told the gate attendant I did not want to confront the man as per my frustrations. We went in the park and waited while the gate attendant attempted to contact the person after an hour and a half waiting the man showed up, so I moved my trailer next to our paid for campsite and waited. only to continue waiting. so, I had to walk to the front door and let the people know they were in our paid for site and we are waiting for them so we can start setting up our time which had been cut short because of them. I went back to my truck and continued to wait. after about 5 minutes they started to pick up their camp, 20 minutes later they finally got out of our site. The gate personal tried to make this our problem by giving us another camp site. The camp site we had on reservation was closest to the water because we have jet skis, another site was unacceptable. The gate attendants (MANAGEMENT) should of did their job and checked the man's reservation. Instead, they let him in our site and under my name.

The camp was very good, and although it appeared to have every site book when I made my reservations, when I arrived and all through the weekend most of the sights were empty. The area around the camp site was clean and the grass was not to over-grown, which made it nice for walking around and down to the lakes edge. The table and shelter, was nice and clean and looked to have been clean recently as no spider webs, were seen. Over-all the site was so nice I stayed and extra two days. If I had to make a suggestion, the dump station seemed to be a little bit far away but no problem and even had a working water hose, for the cleanout. Over all 5 Stars and will book again.

Great location and very quiet setting. Groceries were not that far to go get and lake is just beautiful.
