What Guests Are Saying
Cedron Creek Park is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained environment, spacious and clean sites, and friendly hosts. Our kids grew up coming here, now we had an opportunity to bring our grandchildren. We had a great time. This is a lovely campground.

The park was nice enough. My campsite was littered with cigarette butts & the front office people were a bit rude, especially the woman. She literally screamed at me because I didn’t follow her instructions 100%. But whatever. All in all, it was a fine experience.

Very nice views of the adjacent lake from our site (#50). The concrete picnic table was permanently covered. The parking pad was relatively level but in poor shape with crumbling concrete and asphalt creating trip hazards. The public facilities in our loop were not clean and poorly lit. We never observed anyone cleaning the showers or toilets the 3 days we were there. The sites were nicely spaced from each other. This was probably a beautiful facility in its earlier days. Budget cuts and staffing issues appear to have taken a toll.

This is a nice park with good facilities. Most sites have shade. Down sides were our site didn’t have much room for parking, which seemed to be a common issue since the “overflow” parking, which was directly next to out site was full so we couldn’t park there, either. Would also be nice to have an actual swim area with easier access to the water

We enjoyed Cedron Creek campground on Lake Whitney in a Class A DP motorhome. This is an above average Army CoE campground. The only bad thing I would say about it is that the dump station needs to repaired/updated. It's in pretty poor shape and your rig will slope AWAY from the drain. It was designed as a 2-sided dump but one side has been closed for years.
