Cagle could be a very nice park. I have always stayed in Sycamore loop. This is my first stay in SWGU loop.
I guess the park host in this loop is a permanent residence. I have never seen this done? The Park Host site looks like a junk yard full of clutter.
I had a shoe hanging from a tree above my patio. Someone in the site before me had left a frisbee and a razor scooter. I spent my first twenty minutes picking up food trash and cans at the site. I’m glad I didn’t have to use the restrooms.

Unfortunately it rained almost the entire time. The park is beautiful, several paths to walk, the recent control burning, still a lot of smoldering logs, was a little unnerving. Suggest an open site if you want starlink to work, spot 37 was full shade, very nice spot, no internet and no cell service on Mint Mobile/TMobile. Spot 36 has some shade and a clear southern sky for starlink.

The forest ground burning should have been communicated. We would have made another plan.

I love this park. It is so beautiful and the hosts are so helpful. Paths are older but usable. Bathhouse could use some updating. Cell signal was nearly non existent for t-mobile even with their Internet box.

Great park on Lake Conroe. Love park but we had to leave day early due to smoke from prescribed burn by Forest Service.
