Pros: Great shade. Full hookups. Host Jessie was very attentive.
Cons: Sites unlevel but manageable with blocks. Poor cell service if you need it.

Site #3 was a beautiful secluded spot. It took us a bit of time to get the trailer level but after that all was smooth.

Love this park. Nice big sites, full hookups, room to park the boat and the best park host ever, Jesse. Too bad the fishing wasn’t very good.

We stayed May 24-May 29 in site 3. Paved parking pad, site area was large. Had an issue with the water spigot, told the lady who was in the park host golf cart as she was driving around. She went and got plumbers tape came back but it didn’t fix the problem. Said she had a new spigot but never came back. Left a voicemail at the facility office but no one ever returned the call or came around. Otherwise it’s a very quiet camping area. Lot was shaded, trails to hike and fishing.

Turn right (west) on FM 1375. The Sam Houston District Office is on the right approximately 2.5 mi west of I-45. Cagle Recreation Area is approximately 6 mi west of I-45 and approximately 3 mi west of the District Office on the left hand side of FM 1375.
