What Guests Are Saying
Pat Mayse West is a beautiful and peaceful campground, well-maintained with great views of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and easy access to facilities, including a dump station and good cell service. While some areas, such as the restrooms and entrance roads, need updates, the overall camping experience is enjoyable, with excellent fishing and a strong sense of community among campers.

Very peaceful little hideaway!
Made the short drive into Paris Tx to view the Texas Eiffel Tower, and discovered a beautiful Veterans Memorial Park!

Pavement is sunken/unlevel in many places on the access/exit roads.
Very few sites are even close to being level. I had to use my ramps and blocks (Class C RV).
Never spoke to a single camp host in 4 days.

We had a great time. The only issue we had was the showers weren’t open.

Spot A03 - Great spot that's parallel to a lake inlet and has a nice view. Be prepared to do some leveling. Also, it's classified as a back-in site, but if there isn't anyone in the two sites "behind" it, it would probably be easier to pull through from that side. Backing in is a bit difficult due to the curve in the spot. Also, watch for the drop-offs from the asphalt. The sites in this area are in a web pattern, so be sure to scope things out a bit to figure out how you're going to approach your site. (Thankfully, the camp host was on hand to help me figure out where to go.)
When I arrived, there was no attendant at the gate, and the "reserved" tags on the sites were out-of-date. I think that was a temporary matter though as I saw an attendant on duty a couple of days later.
I look forward to exploring the area more on a future visit.

Loved the site. Only issue was that the 30 amp electrical outlet melted our RV plug.

We love Pat Mayse West. Have been coming here for more than 30 years. Most camp sights are spacious. However the Corp has done nothing to upgrade electric service. The current wiring is weak. Expect to go out and reset the breakers a few times. Some sites are better and some are worse. This is a busy campground but the Tulsa Corp office puts its money in the Oklahoma sites. Not here in Texas.
