Beautiful park and location but the bathhouse facility was horrible, dirty and unkept, not worthy of a gov. facility.

Pat Mayse West is our go-to camping spot around Paris, TX. The last time we went there were more campers there then I have seen before but that may have been due to the fact that only one loop was open, as they have the others closed for maintenance. West is quiet with great views of the lake. The roads are paved, allowing my toddler to ride his bike easily around our campsite. There are spots available for larger campers, which is something we have to consider with a 32’ rig. Facilities at the entrance to the camp were extremely clean and well maintained.
The only negative is that some of the branches hang very low and that can make pulling a tall camper through more difficult.
