I was unable to make the trip, your talking about. I love Pat Mayse Lake I hunt there all the time. I'm looking forward to going hunting there again soon

This campground is in serious need of updating. For example, even though it was off season, our fire pit was unusable as it hadn’t been cleaned out in a long time. Vault toilets were neglected as well. Host seemingly was preoccupied with blowing leaves and burning them in the vicinity of his site.

From Paris, TX, take HWY 271 north for 12 miles to FM 906 W, then 4 miles to FM 197. Turn west for 3 miles to CR 35810, turn left 1 mile to CR 35800, then left into the park.

- Entrance gate opens and closes; vehicles may leave at any time but cannot enter until the following morning
