We stayed during the week in October and it was pretty quiet with a lot of open spaces. The spots are very well spaced. Some spaces have nearly no tree coverage while others do so look at google maps satellite view to see which is which. (Most all of the spots on the lake front have ZERO shade all day.) We stayed in space 18 and it has a lot of room between other campers and behind it is a big grassy field (great for kids to run around or pet relief area).
We didn't fish but our neighbor did and he said he caught a bunch of catfish quite easily.
The full hookups worked well and properly. No complaints there.
My only 2 complaints: At the entrance gate to get into the park the road there is EXTREMELY sunk in from tire usage. So sunk in that it's scary bringing your rig through there for fear of knocking off a stabilizer leg or even scraping your tanks. There is no way to maneuver through it with the hopes of not hitting a leg because the gates are on either side; you just have to go through it veryyyy slowly and hope for the best. If you have a low setting rig, skip this place. It'd be nice if the city would patch this up or at least lay down some gravel to raise up those dents.
My other complaint is the amount of spiders at this place! Now, I'm not one to complain about insects or local wildlife while camping. I mean you're camping after all. We actually like seeing different kinds of bugs. But the amount of spiders here was insane! I backed in, and literally, while I was still unhooking and connecting everything, there were already small spider webs done and built around my tires and such! Lots of cute, cool-looking jumping spiders so nothing too scary and they dont really bother you, but still! Expect to leave this place with spiderwebs everywhere, including inside your rig. When we pulled in, the picnic table was unusable because it was overran by a million spider webs.
Even with those complaints, we will definitely stay here again.

Our Wedding was Beautiful at this place. My wife and I were very happy. Only thing we wish there was a fan and better mirror in the ladies restroom. Other than that everything was great.
