We always enjoy staying here and this was our first trip for the year before we gathered up grandkids. We wanted to make sure everything was working on the camper. We stayed in B4. The campsite was amazing with beautiful sunsets.
The bathroom was right across the street but the entire building was out of order. The sites were mostly cleaned but the camp host came by and picked up some metal trash the previous campers left on the ground. One thing we didn’t like was the placement of the campfire ring. It was just to the side of the camper so all the smoke drifted right into the door of the camper. A better placement would have been at the back near the edge of the bank overlooking the water. The ring needs replacing but still works, the bottom is just wearing out. I would like to see this moved when replaced but I’m sure it won’t be. But overall we had a spectacular time. Not one campsites was overly loud.

This is by far one of my and my wife’s favorite parks in Texas and have been here many times. Park hosts are always friendly and helpful, the park is well kept, and the views are fantastic. Highly recommend!

I love going to this area. Lovely location. It looks a bit tired and could use a bathroom update and improvements. Help at the office was good. Would love to see facilities freshened up! I contribute money for added park funds. If everyone added a bit, maybe funding would open up even more!
