What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Point at Wright Patman Dam is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean grounds, and friendly camp hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable destination for families and nature lovers. Campers appreciate the spacious sites with great lake views and the variety of wildlife, including deer. However, some reviews mention the need for restroom upgrades and occasional maintenance issues, such as overgrown grass and closed facilities, which could improve the overall experience.

This is a very nice RV park with lots of shade and easy access to the lake. But, it was hot while we were there! Otherwise, I would highly recommend it.

The campground lost all power twice (not Host sites), when questioned on the status of power restoration the woman answering the phone was rude and provided no estimate, The campers next to us loaded up and left for the KOA about 12 miles away.

People who work there were extremely helpful. The gentleman at the gate found us a campsite that suits our family better than the one we booked online. He also drove around the campsite to make sure we are fine with what we have. The bathrooms in Campsite A were very clean. Playground was a life saver.
