Great park with nice water views. Sites are located far enough apart for privacy. Nearby Dana Peak is a great spot for hiking.

Union Grove roads to campsites were in good shape and restrooms/shower facilities were clean with easy access. The sites were well maintained with water and electrical hookups. I appreciated the shelters with picnic table and fire ring. The picnic area and the doors/exit of the RV was covered with small gravel so that rain was not a problem. The gravel was small and easily picked up on the bottom of the shoes and tracked into the RV. The campground was peaceful and easily accessed from I-35.

Staff was excellent. Bathrooms were very nice. Location and lake was great-there are truly fish in there!
only drawbacks were limited trees and ground for tents not as level as my Princess Pea self would like! We will be coming back next year.

no gate person after going to HQ for lake was told host handles problems. But no phone number for them no ID. on there site had a breaker problem and host changed because the only work 24 hours a week. Then took a day to get funds and breaker replace. There is a problem with point of contact for park and HQ' that does not work on weekend. Please address !

Beautiful, spacious, and well kept.
Fire ants were pretty numerous in the area we were, but manageable.
Stayed in the shelters. No bunks, but had water, electrical plugs, and lights inside and out.

Very nice and clean park. Great views of lake. Lots of deer roaming around. Successful bank fishing this trip. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful little spot right by the water. Quiet and close enough to town. Saw tons of deer on the way in and out.

Very clean grounds, clean restrooms and overall great place. The shelters/cabins are nice as well, a bit tattered screens, however, still sufficient and comfortable. Will definitely be going camping there again soon!
