Union Grove is a beautifully maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning views of the lake. Visitors appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the clean restroom facilities. We are new to RVing, a great first experience. Large back in spot (they have a few pull-thru, but we did not get one). Neighboring sites are not close at all. The family next to us were up late at night and when we turned in we did not hear their music, even with our windows open. Great fishing and kayak location, the swimming area was just across from our site. Very clean location.

Friends came in from AZ and they absolutely loved it, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, quiet. We saw deer in the morning, but be careful walking a dog at night we did hear some pigs (just bring a light and they will not bother you).

Love this campground, well maintained and quiet. Water access from every site to go fishing (Bluegill, Catfish and Bass).

Had a very good time at the park and campground. Check in was simple and easy, staff was great. We did have a broken spiggot on our water, we let the front staff know and it was fixed within 30 minutes. Outstanding service, clean, and safe park. Had a great time and would highly recommend.

As usual, our visit to Union Grove was outstanding. This trip, we were with 3 other rigs, and it was great! We have a wedding chapel in Salado, Texas, and were able to visit with 3 different brides and grooms during our stay. We are very excited about the large area of the park opening, but unfortunately, when we made our reservation for our next camping adventure, the re-opened sites were not on the online reservation system yet, so we were forced to make arrangements at Lake Brownwood State Park for our next trip instead. Our understanding is that this issue has been fixed, and I know that several of the other folks we normally camp with will be at Union Grove again, soon. Barbara is always a delight at the front office and so very helpful. Thank you for another great stay, and all the work that has been done to re-open the previously closed section!

Nice clean park with space between units. Lake view is excellent. We are full timers and stay here several times a year when in the area.
