Visitors appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the clean restroom facilities. The park is nice. Some of the amenities could stand some upgrades as they are getting a little tired. Grills and picnic tables are really tired. The steps from where the camper is sitting down to the picnic area needs quite a bit of work. The picnic area needs weeding. The camper parking area could be leveled so that you don’t need so many leveling blocks. Overall the park is nice but it could be so much more.

My husband and I loved this small quiet park with campsites right along the lake. Everything was kept up nicely. The bathrooms were exceptionally spotless!!

Nice facility, beautiful lake view, campsites well separated from each other. Heated bathroom/shower was a pleasant surprise! Proximity to Salado is very nice.

Showers are hot, restrooms well maintained. During park electric power outage, staff was very helpful.

We stayed in site 10. There was no shade, but the view of the lake was very nice. The park was quiet and the bathhouse immaculately clean. A word of caution on the bathhouse--the tile is VERY slippery when wet. There is a Dollar General near I-35, about 10 minutes away. Very nice park. We will book again.

The best park I have stayed at at ACEUS. 24 hour access, good cell coverage, many TV channels. Nice, helpful hosts.

CAMPERS: There is no gate attendant at this park. Please check your confirmation email from Recreation.gov for the camper gate code to enter the campground. |
