What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

This is a very quiet, somewhat smaller ACoE site that is well kept & clean. Did not use the bathrooms. Very remote & not very close to groceries, restaurants etc but that means you can get away from all that

We love Rocky Creek Campground and reserve our spots every year at Easter and sometimes Mother's Day as well.
This past Easter was no exception-we arrived on March 28th and stayed until April 6th. We had been told by some of the campers that arrived in our party a couple of days earlier that we needed to bring weedeaters because the campsites had not been mowed. It's sad that we had to spend the better part of our day weedeating around our grounds and it was very difficult for our 18 mo. old great grandson to hunt Easter Eggs because the grass was so tall. A couple of days later, the mowers came-the job was done in 2 days and it was really nice-just wish it had been taken care for Easter-it would have made it so much nicer.

HUGE campsite. We were on site #91 for our annual Easter camping trip with the kids and grandkids. There were 28 of us on 6 sites. There was plenty of area for the Easter Egg hunt and for the little ones to run and play. Seeing all the deer every morning and evening was a bonus! We will be back next year.
