What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

We stayed in the smaller loop in site 45 and had a beautiful view of the lake. The site was very well maintained, level, and had a covered picnic table, large firepit and a pedastal grill. Every employee with whom I interacted was polite and professional. We took a short hike with our grandson who was enjoying his first camping experience - he was one happy camper. 😊

Beautiful location, and having all hookups was a bonus. Friendly, informative hosts. Road condition was very poor - sunken areas and big potholes.

Beautiful park and well maintained.
Trails were great for hiking or bike riding. Camping sites that we used were very level and clean.

Such a gorgeous place! Even the bathhouse was exceptional clean. Very quiet and tranquil atmosphere at the park. The nature trail in itself is worth the trip! The grounds are immaculate too. The staff is so helpful and we can't wait to go back soon!

This is our first season escaping Michigan winter. We are trying 5 nights at each campground. We found this campground a nice place to decompress and relax. We think this is a great place to relax.

The survey would not let me select a star level but our visit rated five stars. Facility was excellent, staff were helpful and visited a bit with Jennifer, the ranger. This was not our first visit and won’t be our last.

Campsite was level. We had a lakeside location. We went with a group and it was very nice. I hope to visit there again.
