What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

We booked an RV site for three days overlooking the water and enjoyed the park immensely. The park is beautiful with foliage, deer, fishing opportunities and clean bathrooms. We plan on visiting again!

We were in site 59 with great views of the lake. Plenty of space between sites and ours was mostly level. There is a nice trail around the park to walk. Take a ride over to Brenham and visit the Blue Bell ice cream plant for either a tour or get a huge scoop of ice cream in the Parlor for $1.00.

We always love staying at this park It's clean and well kept. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Close to the antique week activities but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet after shopping.

Great family camping trip for the third year in a row! The lady at the gate that checked us in (Susan I think was her name) is a dream. She was super sweet and thoughtful to my family and I. She was very helpful and informative. Her gracious customer service was definitely one of the highlights of our trip this year. See ya next year!

Campsite was awesome! Very well kept park. The weather was perfect. We highly recommend the hamburgers at Wild Bills, the store right outside the park entrance. Already have reservations for next month.

Our site 60 was level and spacious. All sites in the park are generously spaced. We did not use the bath house but it was clean. All the park was exceptionaly clean and well maintained. The park host were quite friendly. All good, no negatives for us.
