What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Nice clean space! Well maintained. A small hiccup with our reservation that was handled well. We'll be back. Five Stars!

Site #143 is an excellent site with some shade, waterfront, and near the restrooms. The lake water level was very low on our recent visit and we've never seen it like this in over 30 years of camping here!
Front office staff was kind and helpful. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the men's restroom was very dirty around the commodes and urinal (some people are disgusting). My wife said the women's restroom was fine.
Very quite and peaceful. Lots of approachable deer and the sneaky raccoons do come out at night (secure your food). We had no real problem with insects or other pests.
I wish they didn't shutdown from Oct-March. Some nice camping weather is missed in those months (especially October and March).
Overall a very nice park. We'll keep coming back.

Very nice park, and very well maintained. The only downside was that we got ants in our RV. Nothing that some ant spray wouldn't take care of, but the next time we go, I'll spray (sprayer attached to garden hose) all around under the RV. Especially where something makes ground contact (wheels, jacks, steps etc....)

Went for a relaxing weekend on the lake, everything was great! Had a small issue with Ants, had to go buy some Ant spray to spray all around the outside of the camper!

This was a very good place to stay. The scenery was wonderful. It was very nice to walk out and see the deer's right outside of your RV. We will be going back soon.

We planned a family weekend, with 3 RV's camping together, had a great time! Would love to see a swimming pool, so when the water levels are down, there are still water activities for the family! Great location, clean park, beautiful wildlife and very friendly staff!

It's like living in a "gated community." It is a beautiful location, with the best maintenance, friendly hosts, and spacious sites. We love to come up during the week and spend a night, or longer.
