What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Great campground. Nice big sites. Big rig friendly. Most have very good views. Lots of deer in the fields at night. Easy access and easy backing in.

We had a brief 2 night stay here in late January. The part of the park open at this time of year was clean and the sites were generous in size with many right on the lake. Nice antique shops in nearby Burton.

This is a nice quiet park with lots of trees and a nice view of the lake. The park has suffered from storms and flooding in recent years, and several areas are closed. The CoE is working hard to get additional capacity back into shape for more people, and hopefully, they can have it ready for the spring. This is a great park with great staff and volunteers.
Take a nice stroll through the trees on one of the trails or walk along the shoreline and see what nature has to offer. This is a great park for sunrises and sunsets, there is very little road noise that makes it way back into the park.

It is always nice to make a little fire. Just make sure to always clean up after yourselves because remember, there is nothing sexier than taking care of our nature xx.

The volunteer that checked us in was very pleasant. I think her name was Joan. We always enjoy the wildlife there. We were in site 51 and saw deer behind our camper each morning. Hope the tent sites and boat ramps open in the Spring. Always a great time staying at your campground.
