What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Our site was level and had lots of space around us. Nice and peaceful place, seemed to be a mostly older crowd. Only downside is the lake was low so couldn’t really fish from shore. Will definitely return.

Had a wonderful time!!! Site was beautiful!! We will definitely be back. It was quite a change watching people forge for their own firewood. We are use to being at state parks where it is strictly forbidden. Our neighbors were nice and very respectful. It was so quiet and dark at night. Good place to see the stars. We have already booked a return trip.

Well spaced sites are gravel and fairly level. Enjoyed the walking trails. Site 44 had a great view of the lake and deer grazing in the evening.

It was great to have a private shower stall and hot water, decent pressure. We just thought they could be cleaner. We also scouted things out to see what campsites we’d prefer for a future visit. The one we had was in a pretty cramped area with people pretty close on both sides. We saw that there were several others with better space.
