About Cedar Ridge (TX)

Cedar Ridge Park campground is located on the Northern side of Belton Lake. This year-round campground accommodates both tents and RVs and has several sites with screened shelters for those who do not have camping equipment. This family friendly park provides many amenities, including water-bourne restrooms with sinks, flush toilets, and showers, group picnic areas, and a concession marina within the park offers fuel and basic convenience store items, as well as a seasonal restaurant. Belton Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Belton Dam in 1954. The 12,300-acre lake is located on the Leon River, just upstream of the confluence of the Leon River and the Little River. Belton Lake is a long, narrow and winding lake with many curves and coves, providing some of the best camping, fishing, and boating in Central Texas.

I enjoy the park I have been there many times cedar ridge is a very good Park however there is a hostess there who is very disrespectful very belligerent will yell and scream at you and your children as if she has no sense so I would tell you to prepare for that because if she doesn't like you or she doesn't like what she decides that you're doing wrong even when she's wrong she will treat you like trash other than that the park is amazing the other house are wonderful and I have enjoyed every time I've been there and I've been going there now for about 4 years and she is the only problem that I have ever encountered there at that Park

This is our 3rd time to stay at this park. It is located on Lake Belton, but the lake is down 12-14 ft at this time. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars! One of the two boat ramps is still accessible though.
The RV pads are very nice and spacious. Many even have additional parking for tow vehicles or friends. Wildlife, such as deer and birds, are seen daily in the park.
This year our trip coincided with bluebonnet season and wildflowers were seen throughout the park and surrounding area.
I'm sure we'll be back next year.
