Lake Waco Marina

Good spot for picnic

You can not launch your boat at the marina ... you have to go to another part of the lake to launch your boat. Very annoying.

So I spent my New Years weekend on my houseboat in the Lake Waco Marina and Cove.. In short I was rather unimpressed with the Cove and Marina for a variety of reasons to include but not limited to:. We shall refer to him as the "Gatekeeper" (still not sure who he is) but he and his other half (I presume) stay posted up on the waters edge in their houseboat pretending to be the police monitoring every single move that everyone makes - to such degree that I became and remained very unsettled during my stay.. Next, the potable water lines that feed our boats for storage tanks, etc. we're turned off throughout my stay which (as you may imagine) posed numerous inconveniences of its own.. Finally, the Marina guest wifi provided with our boat slip had virtually no reception which caused me to rely on my carriers cellular data throughout my stay -. I'm pretty sure I'm about to dry-dock my boat and funnel that $300.00 a month elsewhere...

If you ever have anything negative to say about this place they will ban you! Not worth the money anyways when you can pretty much touch other campers out the window. Only thing positive is swimming area on the water.

Nice quite place with boat houses. There is also a restaurant on site. Water was very clear.
