We held a church worship service at the Twin Bridges Shelter and our entire experience was positive. It was easy to make our reservation on the website and we immediately received confirmation of the registration. The park office provided the required parking passes via email so entry and parking were quick and uncomplicated. The shelter was in good condition and electrical service was functional as detailed on the park website. The area was clean and litter-free. Overall, a very good experience and much enjoyed by our group without exception. My only word of caution is to reserve early as the shelter tends to book up rapidly during the Summer months.

This isn’t the first time we’ve used this of this part for our gathering. It’s a great place and we will be back next year!

We rent the shelter most every year. It's always been a good experience. The only drawback this year was that it seemed that the mowers blew the excess grass onto the concrete at the covered shelter. Other than that, a really nice place and renting it was easy.

Does not appear to be cleaned for a while. There wasn’t trash or anything like that however lots of mud Dobber nests and cobwebs all over the place. Mini looking months old if not older. We also had no slips on how to identify cars that were with the group shelter that caused some confusion with the campground host.

We had our wedding here and the pavilion could have been cleaner concerning spiders and webs plus wasp nest

Easy to reserve and pay on-line. Park office personnel very helpful with details. This is a great location for larger groups but this is quite a bit of traffic noise from nearby Highway 6.

{"text"=>"Nice area, the park was clean and taken care of. The parking lot machine was broken so I had to walk over to the boat ramp to get a parking lot ticket. All and all it was a good visit, I would go back. The gills need to be fixed, the whole bottom was rotted out, but with a little tin foil all was saved.", "languageCode"=>"en"}

From I-35, take exit 330B Hwy 6 N toward Meridian for about 6 miles. After passing over the lake on the Twin Bridges, take the first exit toward Lake Waco/Speegleville Park. Turn left on the access road and the park entrance will be on the right.
