Midway Park offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with shaded RV spaces, clean showers, and friendly staff, making it a great place for camping. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views of Lake Waco, as well as the helpfulness of the park hosts. However, some reviewers noted issues such as high grass, highway noise, and occasional rudeness from staff, indicating that the park could benefit from some maintenance and improved communication.

Great location close to town. 15 Min from Magnolia Table if you are a fan. If you are into eating out and sight seeing you will not a disappointed. If you are looking for a quite safe place for the night you are 5 minutes off I35 and no traffic noise. Park has a boat ramp for those that want to fish the lake. Most of the spots are spacious and semi level but beware this park is mostly on an incline/hill and some spots will require leveling blocks for anything over 30 ft. ****Note the overpass you have to go under if you are coming from I35 looks short but it is 14’ 9” and should be ok for most RVs.

This was our first time to visit Midway and we enjoyed our weekend. To make things better, it would be nice to have full hookups (sewer) and 50 amp at all the camping spots.

Awesome place! Sites are nice and spread out. We had a beautiful view of the lake. An owl flew up and sat in the tree beside us to watch the fire. We will return.

Another great stay for us at Midway. This is an unusual Texas COE park, in our experience. It's located in a fairly large city, but the park still has lots of natural landscape to enjoy, as well as the lake location. We like the choice of spending a day at the park, or taking advantage of everything Woodway and Waco have to offer.
We stayed at Midway in a 31 ft 5th wheel rv.
If you haven't been, check out the National Mammoth Monument, The Mayborn Museum, and the Woodway/Carleen Bright Arboretum.

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 mi. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
The campground is accessible from I-35, which is about 5 miles away, and is reached via Hwy 6 N toward Meridian. The exit for Midway Park is located just before crossing the lake.
