Midway Park offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with shaded RV spaces, clean showers, and friendly staff, making it a great place for camping. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views of Lake Waco, as well as the helpfulness of the park hosts. However, some reviewers noted issues such as high grass, highway noise, and occasional rudeness from staff, indicating that the park could benefit from some maintenance and improved communication.

Upkeep at the park was very disappointing. Needed to be mowed and edged. Dead broken limbs down. Overgrown everywhere. The girl at the front was very helpful but the camp hosts weren’t very friendly. One had a very aggressive dog that lunged at me when I went to talk with them…thank God he was chained up. Just not very professional at all.

We stayed a week at Midway and enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms and campground are clean. We knew this campground is located near a highway and therefore we expected some highway noise. We would stay here again.

Good place to stay and visit Waco. Campsite was great, view on the Lake, clean Washrooms, very friendly people. Car next to campsite. Felt totally safe as a lone traveling women. Left all my stuff at the campsite whilst exploring Waco without worrying. If you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs for the highway next to the campsite.

camp site was clean, level, large pad. No cover for table. Need to update the photos. The ONLY reason I picked this camp ground was it showed water up to the campsite so I could fish. The water was about 300yrds from the campgrounds.
