What Guests Are Saying
Midway Park offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with shaded RV spaces, clean showers, and friendly staff, making it a great place for camping. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views of Lake Waco, as well as the helpfulness of the park hosts. However, some reviewers noted issues such as high grass, highway noise, and occasional rudeness from staff, indicating that the park could benefit from some maintenance and improved communication.

I have stayed at this park 4 times in the past year. My first 3 times were great. This 4th time the grass was not being mowed and was very high. This resulted in tons of chiggers. I did not experience this on my first 3 stays. You have been warned.

This campsite was perfect, complete with clean restrooms and showers, convenient dump bins and a hostess who was friendly and courteous

They’re doing construction in the park so they switched my campsite to one away from the construction. So nice. The other guests were very considerate, the grounds were clean, so pleasant!

Other than getting moved twice it’s a good park to camp. Glad they are adding table covers. Its about time they spend money on that park

Typically we love Midway Park. However, this trip was a ;little different. We had construction equipment parked right in our camping spot for 4 days. Workers would show up in our spot a around seven every morning and start equipment and it drove our dog crazy. Great they are fixing Midway up but just not a good trip for us this time.

Midway Campground needs to update its electrical infrastructure. During our recent stay, the heat index hovered around 100 degrees, and the aging electric service simply couldn't handle the high demand. As a result, our air conditioner repeatedly cycled on and off, making for a very uncomfortable trip.

Beautiful well maintained park with sites on the water. New covers being put over picnic tables while we were there. Easy access to town, shopping and events.
