What Guests Are Saying
Midway Park offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with shaded RV spaces, clean showers, and friendly staff, making it a great place for camping. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views of Lake Waco, as well as the helpfulness of the park hosts. However, some reviewers noted issues such as high grass, highway noise, and occasional rudeness from staff, indicating that the park could benefit from some maintenance and improved communication.

Not our best camping experience. Our checking table was very close to our neighbors picnic table. The way that works 36 is laid out puts 2 Campsites Way too close. Also, the showers in the women’s restroom did not work.

Camp grounds were very nice and spacious. Only spent the night here last November on a trip trough, but we have already booked again for another overnight stay.

Park is quiet and beautiful. Clean bathrooms; nice little playground for young children; lovely views. The roofs over the picnic tables need a little work, but the last 3 years have seen terrible weather (floods and freezes) in the winter, so that is understandable. Lovely, small park actually inside the city of Waco.
